Bob and Jo of How to Love Where You Are and Eat Where the Locals Eat!! have been lot sitting next to us for the last couple of weeks and we have been having fun! One of the main activities have been exploring the surrounding desert in our 4 seater "desert mobile", our blue buggy! None of these excursions out into the desert disappointed us! Lindy was reminded of Bryd Baylor's book  The Desert is Theirs . Now this is billed as a children's book, but if you have come across any of her books, you, along with Lindy, will dispute that label. Baylor says that "You may think of the desert as a harsh, dry place where no one would ever want to live--but think again." Here we go:  The Desert Is..... Crested Saguaro Saguaro in the sun The Desert Visitors..... Fallen Saguaro--ribs still standing.... We always enjoy our journeys out and about the land surrounding North Ranch, and we believe Bob and Jo did as well. And,

We made the drive down from Fairgrounds RV Park in Prescott Valley October 12, arriving about 9:30, plenty of time to play the lot shuffle:  moving the Blue Buggy and the utility trailer out of the lot and backing the coach in. It took us just under two hours to accomplish this task, as we had to unwrap the Blue Buggy, put the battery back in and move it out, then hook up and pull the trailer out. We then backed in the coach, plugged it in to electricity, and grabbed a bite to eat
