Paws and Friends

We zipped over to San Diego the last week of November. We chose Chula Vista RV Resort and really enjoyed it! It was on the bike trail that went around the bottom of the bay up to Coronado, so lots of good bike riding opportunities!

October 9, 2010, we "landed" in Goodyear, AZ, with all our items from storage in Gallup, NM. The move is complete! Our house sold in June, 2010, and now the transition to full timing is complete! We are complete with South Dakota plates, drivers' licenses, and voting privileges from our journeys as "official" full-timers July 1, 2010!

Look! The actual ruts of the Oregon Trail! I have always wanted to see/walk along these ruts, and we are doing it! We are staying at a really nice Good Sam Park , a very ni ce county park in the town of Gering. Both dogs, but especially Bandit, loved the grass! A great place to call home while visiting all the sights in this area! Chimney Rock--just a short drive east--not as tall as I remember when we were driving back and forth to College on old US 30!

We are off to the Grand Tetons! Spend some time exploring the Grand Tetons, then, off to West Yellowstone: http://www.grizzlyrv.com/information/ , for exploration into/around Yellowstone. Then, off to Virginia City, MT: http://www.koa.com/where/mt/26101/ . Who knows where we shall go after all this...!

Cold Springs Pony Express Station on US 50, the "Loneliest Road in the US". This was our first boondock! It was chilly in the morning!
