Moving on Down the Road.....Well, Trying To...

We are on the road again! Zipping into Las Vegas where we had dinner with cousin Gay and her husband! Then zipping out, hopefully ahead of severe wind warnings, only to land in Ely, Nevada with snow this am! And, wouldn't you know, severe wind warnings, ending tonight!

So we decided to stay a day, enjoying the warmth of our coach, the fireplace going all day, as the snow showers continued throughout the morning, and the wind rattled the leafless trees. It did not get out of the 30's today! And the "feel-like" temperatures were lower than that! This is the coldest we have experienced all winter! We should be good to go tomorrow, heading into warmer temperatures and better weather!

Here is our site here last October, Ely KOA:

Here is a shot yesterday afternoon, after we pulled in. Notice the tree...! But still the sun shone, the sky was blue....like April is supposed to be!

And this is our coach this morning, after the "dressing" of the white stuff...! Not a lot, you will notice, and the weather alert indicated snow accumulation would be light, just consistent, with occasionally "blinding" snow....  Yes, they were right!

Here are a couple of shots earlier this morning. We really didn't believe it would snow, nor would it be as persistent!
The above is just before sunrise.

Snow it is, snow it did. In fact, every time we went outside to re-fill the water and do other chores, when the sun was "shining" and the streets were dry, it would snow again!

Later! The Riders are SWIRVIN on down the road, heading to the Pacific North West!
