Fires a' Burning!

Yea! Moisture on the East Glacier fire, and look! Even an icy mix up in the mountains!












Yep! We have the fire place going! Makes it cozy! We celebrate the cool weather and the rain! We have been loving our time here in Glacier, in spite of the fire, which made its presence known when we first arrived! We had second thoughts about coming here. It was warm those first few days, so keeping the motorhome closed up with the AC running was a good thing, but going outside for any reason one "hit" that acrid smoke smell.

By Tuesday of this week the smoke lessened as the fire was being contained. We were glad we stuck it out, for the views from our site

are tremendous, and we have thoroughly enjoyed our explorations here, particularly our day trip to the Canada Waterton Lakes Glacier Park which we will cover in another post.
