A Chilly Transition from 2014 to 2015, Propane Problem and Solution!

We saw it coming, but did not want to believe the weather alerts...it would not be snowing here at North Ranch, and if it did, it would not stick around.....NOT! It did. And it was COLD! Well, not bitter cold like below zero, but cold enough for us! A couple of days in the 30's is chilly for us warm weather seekers! December 31, 2014, at 7:58 AM, it started. Later, after moving the car as we expecting propane delivery..... Then propane delivery cancelled as was a "blinding snowstorm" in Wickenburg, and this is what we had...... After a bit the snow let up, but the cold did not! We figured we had about 8 gallons of propane in our tank, so enough to run the heater at night to ensure the water bay would get heat as temps were forecast in the mid 20's. Special Cousin Day!

We were out walking/hiking in the "outback" behind North Ranch when Lindy saw some color just above the brush... It was not fall! It was not spring! What is going on? Shortly, the color grew, trying to reach the sky. By golly, look! It is a rainbow "burst"! Wow! That is really something special! Then Lindy remembered Byrd Baylor's book I'm In Charge of Celebrations.  If you haven't read that book, Dear Friend, then you must! We all have celebrations that do not occur on the normal days, such as Christmas, and even birthdays! Some of us would just as soon NOT celebrate birth days...! So this day, it was Tuesday, January 13, 2015, 5:24 PM, was indeed a very special day. We have to write it down. So we are.
