Charlottesville to Littleton, MA

We are Swirvin On Down the Road:  Charlottesville, VA to Littleton, MA for four days, then on to Saco, Maine! We left Charlottesville (A) Sunday, June 10 for Williamsport, MD, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park,  (B). We were there 3 days where we visited Harper's Ferry on a beautiful warm day. We had planned to drive down to Antietam Battlefield the next day, but rain came that night and continued throughout the morning! We stayed "in!"

June 13 we departed Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp for Lehigh Gorge Campground (C) in White Haven, PA--in the Poconos! We did not run the air conditioner! However, it took us over an hour to get level--and we never did..we ran down to the bedroom, had to hike uphill to the living room! In our rating system for parks:  A Keeper, If we Have to, and NO WAY. This park rated a NO WAY! The one factor was the cool air! And, we enjoyed traveling through this country!

Tonight we are in Thomaston, CT, at a very nice park, Branch Brook Campground (D), and the air remains cool! We are LOVING it! And, there are 3 "baby" hawks--now "teenagers" who have not yet taken the plunge to fly away from the nest in a tree just out our window! I have some pictures--will craft a blog later on these...
