So Long, Lazydays and Tucson! Happy Thanksgiving!

We picked up our coach Friday evening, about 5:30, from Lazydays. The awning mount had two butterfly screws to secure it to the side of the coach. Should this issue repeat, it is likely that the side of the motor home will be pulled out! Not likely, we are told, and we have our fingers crossed! The rear leveling systems has two new jacks, which are working beautifully! No longer does it take 45 minutes to get the jacks up before departure! One item, however, was not complete. The tech was there chatting with us, and agreed to come to our site Saturday morning to complete that task. He showed up Saturday morning, just after 8:00 AM, and was finished in 10 minutes! Are we happy with Lazydays?!  You bet!

Since it was a Saturday, we traveled back to North Ranch the same way. We parked by the Club House, unhooked the jeep, and drove down to play musical chairs with the Blue Buggy we had parked where we park the coach. After completing that task, and chatting with neighbors, we went back to drive the coach down and back it in. We were set up, hooked up, and able to relax a bit by 3 PM.

It is enjoyable to return to our own place! The dogs really do enjoy their yard! We had to get used to the fact that we could let them out the door without their leashes! Here, we put their leashes on before we go out the gate! They seemed to know--what was wrong with their humans?!

Sunday we finished playing musical chairs, backing the trailer in front of the gate, and putting the canvas top back on our Arizona Sun Room. (We had removed it just in case the wind came up!)

We purchased our "stuff" for T-day, the turkey especially so it could be in the fridge to thaw--no room in our freezer, Monday. Tuesday we washed the Motor home. Wednesday Mike baked, and in between baking polished the motor home.

Thanksgiving morning she baked the pies, and we had our traditional pumpkin pie for breakfast! We cooked the turkey on the grill, along with yams. Mike made Cranberry Ice, a recipe her mother got from Mom's Pie Restaurant, Long Beach, WA, many years ago (restaurant no longer there!), and one we have used many years. It was all very good!

Mike loves Christmas! She has spent this morning setting up the Christmas decorations. This is our 4th Christmas full-timing, our first in our own lot. She remarked a number of times about the heat--in the mid to high 70's--no wind chill on the hands, and no worries about snow falling and freezing the ground, making take-down difficult...! In the sun, it was down right HOT! Setting up Christmas decorations in the heat...! We are enjoying the full-timing experience!

Blessings to you, this time of thanks, 2012.
