Roving Riders are Roosting!

We are here at the Roving Riders Roost at North Ranch, Arizona! Weather has been GLORIOUS! We have been enjoying the weather, in between doctor's and dentist's appointments... That list is much smaller now, just two more the next couple of days.  In between all the dashing here and there, we have been able to enjoy our little piece of land here north of Wickenburg, AZ.

Our "current" Arizona Room!
We have learned NOT to put open bins on the washer in the shed.... Lindy was going through the plastic bin containing our travel info:  maps and other brochures from our travels since we started full timing. Mike was washing dog towels.... We drove into Wickenburg for groceries. When we returned we discovered that the bin had bounced off the washer into the tub. The washer drains into the tub....! Sigh....!!!!  Several items had to be trashed, but we managed to hang up several on the clothes rack and anyplace available in the shed to dry out! Today Lindy put away the last of the items, except for a book on the Shenandoah National Park. It needs a few more days! Thankfully we are in the dry South West! Oh, the lessons we learn the hard way!!!!

Later! The Roving Riders Roosting for a while.....

  1. Why do lessons always have to be hard?

    1. And sometimes the reasons so foolish! This was my fault totally! We knew the old washer rocks--especially with dog towels which often cause it to be out of balance! But YOU guys certainly have had more than your share of "hard experiences" this winter! And by golly, they are continuing! NOT FAIR! Safe travels, you all: people AND cats!
